our SECOND ANNUAL CONCERT Is Sunday, Oct. 12

Our second annual Concert for the Callie Golden Foundation will be held Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7 pm. Last year, at our inaugural benefit concert, we packed a lot of talent into one hour. This year we’re doing the same.

ABOUT the SINGERS!

This year’s concert is all about singing. Our new and returning singers have one thing in common —
the ability to move an audience with a song well sung.

Elena

Elena DeAngelis

Elena is known for her incredible vocal range and technical ability, but her enthusiasm and authenticity also captivated the audience at last year’s concert. We can’t wait to hear her sing again!

brock

Brock Smith

Brock is a lifelong musician, but voice has always been his first musical love. He’s led church music for almost 30 years, and he won South Carolina’s Best Singer in the State competition in 2017. Brock’s singing is powerful, soulful, and moving. We’re so glad he’ll be with us!

freda

Freda Walker

Freda is a career music educator whose honors include being named Guilford County Middle School Teacher of the Year. Freda’s love for music, along with her warmth and authenticity, resonates in every note.

ALSO FEATURING

We’ll also hear from

First United Methodist Church children’s choir led by Sonja Tomlinson.

A new vocal trio comprised of students from Penn-Griffin School for the Arts in High Point.

WHat do CONCERT donations support?

This year our Board of Directors has selected a purpose for concert proceeds: To help create a Sensory Room at Child Enrichment preschool in High Point. A Sensory Room is a space where children who have processing disorders learn and play together with their classmates. The room will eventually be a community resource where children with sensory conditions can play and receive therapy.
